I went to Prince George... and I ate.

Bottom right corner- Deep Fried Dynamite Roll. O M G

Shhh... the martinis were made with fruit- so it's eating!

Seafood Chowder with a Caesar
AKA: The Usual at Earl's

Gaye's salad- Pffttt and dynamite rolls (NOT deep fried)

Dinner at home: Grilled chicken, roasted garlic, squash, potatoes

Gaye made this eggs benny while I was showering. Now that is fucking service. Better than Demi Tasse's here in Victoria and that is saying a lot. If you stay at Gaye's order this.

Pork loin. This is 1/3 of the 'hunk' we bought. Gaye had to carry it like she was cradling a baby. To quote the lady that had a bit of sympathy "Oh Dear, there is just no gracious way to hold that thing"

Scalloped potatoes- here's the recipe, try it...
Slice as many potatoes as you want, slice one medium onion, toss in a bowl with salt, pepper, 3 cups of whipping cream (heavy cream... very very heavy) and 1 cup of cheese (whatever you want). In a 350 oven put a lid on this baby and let it bake for an hour. Take it out, add another cup or more of cheese, put on broil and watch it brown. DO NOT go watch tv, you have to watch it for 2 minutes. Take it out, let it sit for 10- 15 minutes. Careful, it's hot.
Don't blame me if your ass widens...

Peas and asparagus- about to meet Mr. Hollandaise...

Homemade beets and apple sauce finish it up. When Gaye gets the beet recipe I'll pass it on- the best I've had. Thanks Tom's Mom!

Mister bought a treadmill while I was away... You think it's a hint? :) I'm eating mini tootsie rolls as I type this. I hope the treadmill works.

All of that food looks wonderful! I think we will all need to hop on the darn treadmill after the holiday season! Holiday food = bliss.
